The Hejaz Islamic Income Fund (Fund) is yet to be established and is intended to constitute a class of units in the TruePillars Investment Trust ARSN 611 843 317 (Trust). TruePillars RE Ltd (ACN 623 138 241, AFSL No. 505578) is the Responsible Entity of the Trust. Eternal Asset Management Pty Ltd (EAM) is the investment manager of the Fund. EAM is a Corporate Authorised Representative of Interprac Financial Planning Pty Ltd AFSL 246638.
When considering whether to invest, or to continue to invest, in the Fund, investors should remember that:
1. Hejaz is not a bank nor is it regulated by the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority.
2. An investment in the Fund is not a bank deposit or a term deposit, and is not covered by the Australian Government’s Deposit Guarantee. Investing in the Fund has a higher level of risk compared to investing in a bank term deposit.
3. There are risks attaching to the Fund’s investments. In particular, you may not receive the return you expected, you may lose some or all of your return on your investment, and you may lose some or all of your capital.
A key objective of the Fund is to invest in Sharia Compliant financing, compliantly structured listed/unlisted institutional income instruments and term deposits, which are, by their very nature, long term investments. This may in some circumstances potentially impact the ability of the Fund to pay withdrawal requests within the time frames provided for in the Fund’s Constitution and disclosed in the Product Disclosure Statement. Withdrawal rights are subject to liquidity and may be delayed or suspended by the Investment Manager in certain circumstances.
In preparing this webpage, we did not take into account the investment objectives, financial situation or particular needs of any particular person. It is not intended to take the place of professional advice and you should not take action on specific issues in reliance on this information. Neither Eternal Asset Management, TruePillars nor any related parties, their employees or directors, provide and warranty of accuracy or reliability in relation to such information or accepts any liability to any person who relies on it. It is important for you to consider the Product Disclosure Statement for the Fund in deciding whether to invest, or to continue to invest, in the fund. You can read the PDS on our website or ask for a copy by telephoning us once the Fund has been established.
An investment in the Fund is not a bank deposit, and investors risk losing some or all of their principal investment. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance. The rates of return from the Fund are not guaranteed and are determined by the future revenue of the Fund and may be lower than expected.
Withdrawal rights are subject to liquidity and may be delayed or suspended.
We provide risk classifications as a guide and it describes the relative risk, compared to the other Investment options in the Fund. In assessing the relative risks of each Investment option, we have had reference to the categories of risk described in the Standard Risk Measure Guidance Paper for Trustees issued jointly by the Financial Services Council and the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia dated July 2011.
NOTE: The Fund currently does not use derivatives for interest rate management.
