Melbourne, 19 August 2026 – Hejaz Group, an Islamic financial services company, today announced the launch of two new online investing solutions, expanding access to Sharia-compliant investment opportunities for Australian Muslims.
Serving different investor needs, Hejaz Investa provides retail investors with access to a professionally managed multi-asset Growth Portfolio via web browser and mobile app, with additional portfolio options planned.
Hejaz Privia gives the eligible wholesale investors and Islamic institutions, access to a range of Hejaz's wholesale managed funds through a dedicated investment platform.
Both solutions offer only Sharia-compliant investments, enabling Australian Muslims to invest in accordance with their faith and Islamic principles.
Founder and CEO of Hejaz, Hakan Ozyon, said the launch marks an important milestone in the Group's evolution, expanding access to its professionally managed investment solutions for a broader audience.
"With the launch of Hejaz Investa and Hejaz Privia, Australian Muslims and Islamic institutions can now access professionally managed investments that align with their faith, wherever they are in the country, through a simple online application," said Mr Ozyon.
"Since our founding in 2014, our mission has remained the same: to make Sharia-compliant financial solutions more accessible and to support the financial aspirations of the Muslim community with products and services that reflect their values.”
Supporting that mission, Hejaz Investa has been developed to make professionally managed investing more accessible for retail investors. Initially, the platform will offer access to a Growth Portfolio constructed and actively managed using Hejaz ETFs.
Hejaz Portfolio Manager, Peilun Guan, said that while ETFs have made investing more accessible, many retail investors still find it challenging to build and maintain a well-diversified portfolio on their own.
"Choosing the right mix of investments is only the beginning. Maintaining a portfolio requires ongoing monitoring and rebalancing as market conditions change, which can be difficult for investors managing everything themselves," Ms Guan said.
"Hejaz Investa takes care of that on behalf of our investors. Our investment committee constructs and actively manages the Growth Portfolio, allowing investors to access professional portfolio management through a simple online experience. Investors can start with an initial investment of $5,000, making long-term investing more accessible."
Alongside Hejaz Investa, Hejaz Privia has been developed for Islamic institutions seeking a more efficient way to access professionally managed, Sharia-compliant investments. The platform gives institutions simple online access to Hejaz's range of wholesale managed funds, supported by comprehensive portfolio reporting.
"Hejaz Privia enables boards and decision-makers to monitor the performance of individual funds and their overall portfolio through an intuitive online dashboard, supporting effective oversight and informed decision-making," Mr Ozyon added.
Both Hejaz Investa and Hejaz Privia are powered by Melbourne-based investment platform OpenInvest.
Mr Ozyon said Hejaz selected OpenInvest for its modern, scalable technology, which enables Hejaz to deliver a seamless investment experience while keeping investors informed through regular written and video updates.
"The platform allows us to communicate directly with our investors, helping them better understand our investment approach and the decisions we make on their behalf," he said.
OpenInvest Head of Distribution, Ravi Verma, said OpenInvest was proud to partner with Hejaz to deliver two purpose-built online investing solutions for Australia's Muslim community.
"Hejaz had a clear vision for delivering tailored investment experiences for both retail and institutional investors, and our technology has enabled that vision to become a reality," Mr Verma said.
"The flexibility of our platform has allowed us to configure solutions that meet the different needs of each investor group, and we look forward to supporting Hejaz as it expands access to professionally managed, Sharia-compliant investments.”
